What’s on the property
Idlewood is an all-inclusive wedding venue in Bartow, Florida, about twenty minutes from Lakeland. The indoor Azalea Room seats two hundred with room to dance; outside there is a landscaped Biergarten strung with market lighting, a pool deck with a covered outdoor bar, and a 60+ year-old live oak to say your vows beneath. Dinner comes from our own kitchen with every collection, and the Grand Celebration adds the planning, the décor credit and the DJ.

Saturday dates are available with the Grand Celebration, which is also the only collection that includes the DJ, the in-house wedding planner, turn-key setup and breakdown, the custom cake and the champagne toast. A 20% discount applies to June, July and August events. All packages are subject to a 20% service fee and 7% sales tax, and a licensed and insured coordinator and event insurance are required for celebrations over 100 guests.
Questions couples ask
What is the seating capacity?
The Azalea Room seats up to 200 guests with an area for dancing, which covers most weddings here. Smaller celebrations of fifty to a hundred and fifty sit comfortably in the same room. If your guest list runs larger, the Biergarten and pool deck open up more room, so tell us your count and we will map the layout to it.
Is a coordinator required?
Yes. For weddings over 100 guests a licensed and insured event planner or coordinator is required. Planning or coordinating services are included in your rental, and you are welcome to bring your own professional coordinator instead.
What happens if it rains?
The Azalea Room becomes your ceremony space. Your day-of event team works with your coordinator to adjust layout, seating and decor. No scramble, no second venue.
Can we bring our own caterer or bartender?
Catering and bar are ours. Our in-house executive chef, bartenders and full-service staff handle the whole dining experience, with custom menu and bar packages built for your event. You are welcome to bring your own dessert or wedding cake.
Can we use outside vendors?
Absolutely. Aside from catering and bar, all other outside vendors are welcome. Every vendor must provide a certificate of liability insurance 30 days before your event.
Do we need event insurance?
Event insurance is required for all weddings and private events over 100 guests.
How do we book?
Your date is reserved once we have both a signed event agreement and your initial deposit, and not before. All events are booked first come, first served.
